I play at recreating the world so that we might see it anew. For my material I draw upon the human condition: love, death, loss, and desire. For my colour I turn to beauty and ugliness, the sublime and the mundane. A gesture, a motion, a line drawn in the sand is sufficient to set the play in motion and start upon the path to an extraordinary realm where everyday life is electrified, poeticized, ritualized and spiritualized so that we can take it, hold it in our hands, as if looking into a mirror where we might see ourselves for the first time.
