ah that is YOU looking down from above! you are surveying the moody damage done from hormonal thrashings. is that your name she has smeared in lipstick on the broken mirror? does it say, “you won’t find me no more”? is she going to steal your 64 rag top mustang and drive it out into the desert, lay that top down and set it ablaze just to teach you to pick up your dirty socks once in a while? follow the plume of smoke my friend. the mustang will be burned to the ground but that girl will still be there waiting for you to apologize and take her back into your arms.
Or is it the devastation of the solitude when someone departs for another world with a one-way ticket?
